I still to this day have found memories going to battle twice a year in high basketball against Darin. He was an amazing athlete, so strong on the court and had an uncanny ability to score in pressure situations. He was the epitome of Dickson Comet Basketball in the 80’s and I’ve always had respect for him and his ability to play the game of basketball.. I’m saddened to JUST hear of the news of Darins passing and I know he will truly be missed. With Sincere condolences to the family,

I'm was his aide at Southbrook for 6 years and got to know him. Darin wasn't just a resident or someone I had to take care of, he was family to me. He's walking now cuz he said one day he will walk again but not anytime soon. Well the Lord had better plans him sooner. I sure will miss him so much. I always looked forward to seeing every day I worked. I would go to his room just to chit chat it up.
