JUDY DELORIS (SWAIN) CHRISTOPHER

Judy Deloris (Swain) Christopher of Headlton departed this life on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at her residence in Healdton at the age of 76 years, 11 months, and 2 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00P.M. Monday, January 25, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton with Chaplin Matt Benedict officiating.

Judy was born on on February 18, 1944 in Pauls Valley to the late Mr. Pete Swain and Mrs. Ruby (Rosier) Swain.

Judy married the late Bob Christopher on September 18, 1961. Together they made their home in Healdton where they would raise their children. She was an excellent homemaker, mother and a proud grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Judy enjoyed doing puzzle books, reading, and sewing. She worked at the Healdton Hospital as a cook for almost 10 years and was also a private caregiver.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Christopher; daughter, Trenna Christopher; sister, Darlene Allen; and a brother, Claude Swain.

She is survived by her son, Wesley Christopher and his wife Rhonda of Healdton; daughters, Julie Lahman of Healdton, and Susan Ross of Healdton; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Cross Timbers Hospice at 207 C Street NW Ardmore, OK 73401.
