I am Sue (Apala) King, my Dad (June Apala) was one of Ruby's brothers. I never called Ruby Aunt Ruby because we were so close to the same age. She was born in 1939 and I was born in 1942. I always loved it when Ruby would spend the night with us, she was so easy to get along with. This was when we were just little girls and she turned out to have such a love for God. In the last couple of years we would call each other and have such a nice time visiting. I know that Ruby had a great love of God and her family and friends. I pray that God will comfort those that are left behind, may God wrap his arms around all of you and give you peace.

Jennifer, I pray that God will comfort you and all your family! My heart goes out to everyone that loved her. Ruby was a precious person who loved God with all her heart. I don’t think she realized what a positive influence she had on so many people. She was such a great example of how we should all be in this life. She was kind, loving, and so patient. I have many fond memories and it was such an honor to have known her! I will truly miss her! Love and prayers to you all.
