Wes and I worked together for many years. He was a great person to work with to solve problems. It offered me the chance to spend many days in Ardmore when I was younger.
During many of my stays, Wes and I ate together at Two Frogs where he introduced me to the apple dumpling. It's a standard of perfection for me to this day.
Football was something we both felt very passionate about - although comparing Arkansas State and OU was not an easy position for me. He humored me nonetheless. Wes went with me to watch my team play at Norman in 2000. Although OU just slipped by ASU at 45-7, Wes was gracious and complimented my team's effort. At the end of the season, Wes reminded me that ASU held OU to less than they scored against Texas (63) AND we outscored Florida State (2) in the national championship game.
A company minded professional, a great Sooner fan, and a fine gentleman has left us, for now.
Wes you will be missed!

Wesley was definitely a "one of a kind". I dont ever remember seeing him when he didnt have that smile on his face. Wesley loved the Lord with all his heart... along with his precious wife Polly... his kids Mandie & Casey... and his niece Brandi and her daughters Alexis & Alivia. I feel privileged to have known this kind, compasionate, loving, caring man as a friend. Rest In Peace Wesley. You have reached your final goal of living eternally with our Lord and Savior. You will be greatly missed....

I am so sad and very guilty. Wesley and I were best friends in jr and sr high school. We were both janitors at school and our favorite janitor was Mr. Leland Karr. I am sad because of hearing of Wesley’s passing and guilty because I didn’t take the time to maintain our friendship after growing up. I have so many fond memories of Wesley, Curtis and Robert Moore and me. My sincere condolences go out to Polly and kids and to Wesley’s siblings. My prayer is that the peace of Jesus Christ cover you all.
