Loco - Funeral Services for Tammy Lynn McCurry, 46, of Loco are scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Loco First Baptist Church with Rev. Dee Bowen officiating. Interment will follow at the Loco Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Velma Chapel.

Tammy was born on Dec. 12, 1972 at Duncan to Mr. Dale McCurry and Mrs. Beverly Lynn (Talley) McCurry. She departed this life on Sunday morning, October 20, 2019 in Duncan.
Tammy was raised in the Loco attending school at Velma Alma, where she graduated with honors in 1991. She received a college scholarship to Eastern Oklahoma State College of Wilburton where she earned an associate degree in Animal Science. Thereafter, she continued to further her education at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.
Tammy taught school at Keller, TX for a couple of years before returning to Loco. She loved Loco and always enjoyed everyone of this area. She was currently employed with the Chickasaw Nation at the Black and Gold Casino of Wilson. Tammy cherished the moments being with her son Braylin, and enjoyed attending all of his sporting events. She also liked fishing and was a member of the Loco First Baptist Church.
Her mother, Beverly preceded her in death on May 3, 2016.
Survivors include her son, Braylin of the home; father, Dale McCurry and wife Susie of Loco; Aunt & Uncle, Debbie Chapman and husband W.O. of Loco; numerous other family and friends.
Casket Bearers are Paul Tuley, Tucker Wilson, Bubba Knutson, Shawn Hoggard, B.J. Chapman and W.O. Chapman.
Honorary bearers are the fireman of the Loco Volunteer Fire Dept.
Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home in Velma.
