The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marsha Lackey can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Marsha was such a character! I just loved her! I knew her back many years ago when she worked in a salon with my hairstylist at the time , Carol. Carol did my hair while Marsha kept us laughing with her wisecracks and funny stories. She was so good-natured and always, always smiling. When I'd come in the door, she grin and say "Oh no, here comes trouble!" She nicknamed me "Meanness". It was like going to hang out with friends, while getting my hair done in the process. Now, Carol and Marsha are both gone. May they both be at peace in Heaven and know that though it was our hair that we came to have fixed, they also helped to repair our spirits, as well.

Condolence: My heart is so sadden by the loss of my friend and past co-worker Marsha. I was truly blessed to have met her in 2004 when I was transferred to the Ardmore JCPenney store as store manager. She was a first class lady in every respect.
I'm reminded of the scene in the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes" when Ruth took her final breath. Sipsey was consoling Ruth's best friend, Idgie, with these words "Miss Ruth was a lady, and a lady always knows when to leave". Even though Marsha left us way too soon, she left with dignity and touched so many lives with her kindness and caring for others. Those of us who knew her are so blessed to have been a part of her life. She will be missed.
